Gonda: Gonda District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan conducted an on-site inspection of the under-construction Chief Minister’s Model Composite School in Dullapur Khalsa village of Jhanjhari development block and reviewed the progress of the ambitious education project.

The proposed school, being constructed under the government’s project, will cater to students from the pre-primary level through Class 12. During the inspection, the District Magistrate reviewed various ongoing construction activities and sought details from officials about the work completed so far and the remaining components of the project.

Niranjan directed the District Basic Education Officer and officials of the executing agency to ensure 100 per cent compliance with the standards prescribed by the government. She stressed that particular attention must be paid to the quality of construction materials and that every component of the project should conform to the prescribed technical specifications.

She also instructed officials to regularly monitor the construction work and ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated deadline. The objective, she said, is to provide students with a modern school equipped with improved educational facilities and infrastructure.

The District Magistrate described the Chief Minister’s Model Composite School as an important and ambitious government initiative aimed at improving educational opportunities in rural areas. Such schools are intended to provide children with quality education along with modern learning resources and better infrastructure.

Niranjan also directed officials to give priority to safety standards during construction and ensure that the school campus is developed in an organised, functional and student-friendly manner.

She made it clear that negligence, unnecessary delays or any compromise with prescribed standards would not be tolerated. The executing agency was directed to accelerate the pace of construction while maintaining the required quality and completing the project within the set timeframe.

District Basic Education Officer Amit Kumar Singh, DC Construction Vidya Bhushan and representatives of the executing agency were present during the inspection.
